Hidden deep in the Himalayas, the Valley of Flowers is one of India’s most enchanting trekking destinations. Situated in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand at an altitude of around 12,000 ft, the valley is part of the Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Every year, during monsoon, the valley transforms into a breathtaking carpet of blooming alpine flowers. With over 300 species of rare flora, crystal-clear streams, and snow-covered peaks in the background, it feels like walking through a dream.
