The Kedarkantha trek, located in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand, is one of the most popular winter treks in India. Standing at an altitude of around 12,500 ft (3,810 m), it is famous for its snowy trails, dense pine forests, charming campsites, and a breathtaking 360° view of Himalayan peaks from the summit. Starting from Sankri village, the trek takes you through meadows, frozen lakes, and high-altitude forests before culminating at the summit, where the sunrise view is unforgettable.
